1969 - John and Yoko

20 March 1969 - John and Yoko marry in Gibraltar.

4 May 1969 - John and Yoko  purchase Tittenhurst Park in Sunningdale, Ascot, Berkshire. The mansion is later sold to Ringo Starr on 18 September 1973

29 June 1969 - John, Yoko, Julian and Kyoko head off on a driving trip in John's Austin Maxi to Durness, Scotland to see John's Aunt Mater and Uncle Bert. During the visit John talks about suing Cynthia for custody of Julian. His Aunt does not think this is a good idea.

1 July 1969 - John, Yoko, Julian & Kyoko leave Aunt Mater's because of the disagreement about John suing for custody of Julian. While driving, John misses a bend in the road near Golspie and sends the car into a ditch. All four passengers are taken to Lawson Memorial Hospital were everyone with the exception Julian requires stitches. Julian suffers from shock but is sent back to Aunt Mater's.

2 July 1969 - Cynthia picks up Julian at Aunt Mater's after going to the hospital and being told that her son is there. John refuses to see Cynthia. Cynthia and Julian go to Greece... Later John and Yoko have the car crushed into a cube sculpture for Tittenhurst and in 1996 Julian buys the apple hood ornament at an auction.

1 October 1969 - The Beatles' last recorded album, Abbey Road, is released.
