1989 - Mr. Jordan

20 February 1989 - Now You're In Heaven, a Julian Lennon/John McCurry composition and the first single from the new album, is released in the UK. Filmed in London, the video of the song is directed by noted British commercial director Tony Kaye.

24 February 1989 - Now You're In Heaven is released as a single in the US.

10 March 1989 - Mr. Jordan, the third Julian Lennon album, is released in the United States on Atlantic Records. Produced by Patrick Leonard, the album is recorded at Johnny Yuma Recording and mixed at Skip Saylor Recording in Los Angeles. Mr. Jordan features ten new compositions (five written by Julian and John McCurry, three penned by Julian alone, and one each written by Julian & Justin Clayton and Julian and Pat Leonard). Julian (keyboards, vocals) is joined on most of the tracks by Pat Leonard (keyboards), Jai Winding (keyboards), Jonathan Moffet (drums), Schuyler Deale (bass), and John McCurry & Justin Clayton (guitars). Guest artists include Peter Frampton, Fiona, Marilyn Martin, Fee Waybill, and Timothy B. Schmidt.

27 March 1989 - Mr. Jordan is released in the UK on Virgin Records.

April 1989 - Cynthia Lennon opens Lennon's Restaurant in London, dishes included Sgt. Pepper Steak and Penny Lane Pate.

26 June 1989 - You're The One is released as a single in the UK.

1 July 1989 - Julian performs in Manchester.

3 July 1989 - Julian sings in Liverpool for the first time.

29 July 1989 - Julian begins his 3rd North American tour in Charlotte, North Carolina.

2 August 1989 - Concert at the Beacon Theatre, New York. During the concert, Julian is joined on stage by his half brother Sean who steals the show during a duet of Stand By Me. After the show Julian is photographed with Yoko, Sean and his mother.

7 August 1989 - Julian performs at the Dallas Alley in Dallas, Texas.

8 August 1989 - Julian performs at Clubland in Houston, Texas.

12 August 1989 - Julian performs at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, AZ.
